Anyway...
I went the 2 mile route that Kathy gave me from my house up and out to 102nd, up Yorkshire to 98th, down to 40th, back to 102nd and use Dobbin back to my house. 2 miles.
So I...
Walked all the way to Yorkshire.
Ran all of Yorkshire.
Walked 98th.
Ran all of 40th. and
Walked the rest of the way home.
So while I was doing it I thought that I was running so much ... I was sure that it was more than I had done before... so I hop in my car when I get home to check the distance and realized that Yorkshire and 40th are 0.5 miles each and I ran only about as much as I had done on the treadmill. (a little bit of a let down)
BUT still I did it.
You did it! And remember- running outside is much different than running on a treadmill- so don't let it get you down! The important part of this whole thing is your last three words! YOU DID IT!
